Dr. Apraku is certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Licensed to practice medicine in multiple states, Dr. Apraku has helped over a thousand patients via telemedicine.
Previously, Dr. Apraku served as Chief Resident of adult psychiatry at Drexel University, where she also completed her residency program. She holds a doctor of medicine degree from Ross University and a bachelor of science degree from the University of Virginia.
Dr. Apraku provides a wide range of psychiatric services to adults. Common psychiatric issues for which she routinely offers advice and treatment include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Other common mental health concerns include life transitions, attention difficulties, mood swings, anger, and problematic eating.
