Giving Back
We are all connected. Our common wellness depends on supporting each other. Every year at FullWell we choose to support community-oriented non-profit organizations whose mission, ethos, and goals reflect our aspirations to support women and help build a world where care prevails. These organizations deeply inspire us—we hope you’ll join in honoring and assisting their impactful and necessary work. Here are the organizations we are supporting in 2022.
4Ocean
This phenomenal cleanup company is dedicated to ending the ocean plastic crisis through a global operation, recovering millions of pounds of plastic and creating full-time employment for those who live in the communities they serve. Like FullWell, 4Ocean aims to create access to opportunities for growth, equality, education, and prosperity for a more sustainable future. We want to grow along side nature, not at its expense. For each and every product we sell, we have committed to funding the removal of 1lb of plastic from our oceans with 4ocean.
Black Mamas Matter Alliance
The Black Mamas Matter Alliance (BMMA) is a national network of black women-led organizations and multi disciplinary professionals who work to ensure that all Black Mamas have the rights, respect, and resources to thrive before, during, and after pregnancy. BMMA honors the work and historical contributions of black women’s leadership within their communities and values the need to amplify this work on a national scale. The alliance is composed of existing organizations and individuals whose work is deeply rooted in reproductive justice, birth justice, and the human rights framework.
The TEARS Foundation
The TEARS Foundation seeks to compassionately lift a financial burden from families who have lost a child by providing funds to assist with the cost of burial or cremation services. They also offer parents comprehensive bereavement care in the form of grief support groups and peer companions.
Postpartum Support International
Postpartum Support International seeks to increase awareness among public and professional communities about the emotional changes that women experience during pregnancy and postpartum. Their mission is to promote awareness, prevention, and treatment of mental health issues related to childbearing in every country worldwide.
Arbor Day Foundation
Trees are a key part of the solution to some of the biggest issues facing our planet. That’s why Arbor Day Foundation has dedicated the last 50 years to planting trees in forests and communities around the world. And with the help of their extensive partner network, they ensure that this work is focused where it can make thebiggest impact. We have donated 1000 trees through this organization in 2022 so far and are aiming to 10x that impact before the end of the year.
Indie Birth Sanctuary
Indie Birth is a collective of committed women. They believe the family and the community should honor birth on every level – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. It’s their mission to make sure individuals have the education and support needed as a mother exploring home birth or as a birth worker supporting mamas on their journey. Ayla is both an advisor and active volunteer supporting their work in the community.
